Construction is an Art

Construction is an art .A painful art. An interesting art. An art which requires the full devotion of the artist, like all arts. It is the art of creating something beautiful and useful at the same time. From nothing. It must fulfill a function. An art with a function. The function among others is to protect people by creating enclosed but interconnected spaces ,or to satisfy other basic physiological needs , or to send a message to the onlooker through its varied and significant form. Construction is a human activity that covers with safety other basic human activities. Construction is also a combination of sciences. Architecture and engineering and financing. Construction is the sculpture of open spaces. Whoever constructs must be addicted to solving problems and to deposit his mind and time and soul in order to achieve the final goal: The production of a reality that, in most cases, will never be enjoyed by himself.

The reward is priceless: Is called satisfaction.
